The use of the pool and pool area is a privilege granted by the Harbins at Del Mar Club Home Owners Association to members and residents of Del Mar Club and for their convenience and enjoyment. Accounts must be in good standing for amenities access.

Pool monitors will be on duty at various times, you will be asked to sign in and verify that you are a resident.

Reminders:

  • Children under 16 years of age cannot enter the pool area without parent or guardian

  • All members are advised required to familiarize themselves and their children with all pool rules.

  • Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children under all circumstances and at all times.

  • All items left at the pool (Clothing, shoes, etc.) placed into the trash.

  • Amenities area closes at 9 pm unless there is an event.

Pool Rules

The gate to the pool area must be closed and locked at all times.

  1. Pool Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a per week

  2. All members are advised required to familiarize themselves and their children with all pool rules.

  3. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children under all circumstances and at all times.

  4. The gate to the pool area must be closed and locked at all times.

  5. No glass containers, breakable containers, or chewing gum allowed in the pool area.

  6. For safety reasons the following activities are prohibited:

  • Running

  • Pushing

  • Jumping on others

  • Spitting

  • Nose blowing in the pool

  • Dunking or holding others under water

  • Throwing footballs or any other balls

  • Diving

  1. Del Mar Club at Harbins Pool Rules and Regulations (Effective May 2020)

  2. Due to Covid 19, members are asked to bring their own furniture until further notice, If pool furniture is present, pool furniture must be moved by picking it up rather than dragging it from one place to another. Moved pool furniture must be picked up and returned to its original location after use.

  3. Umbrellas must be put down, when not in use.

  4. Tables must be cleaned/wiped down after use.

  5. Water wings, children’s small floats, snorkel tubes, pool noodles, small squirt toys, face masks, kick

boards, flippers, and “Nerf” type balls under 12” in diameter are permitted. Other flotation devices

will be permitted based on occupancy of the pool.

  1. Members wishing to invite more than 7 guests at a time need to contact and receive approval 1 week before using the pool.

  2. The pool and surrounding area may not be reserved for exclusive use.

  3. The pool is to be used exclusively for Del Mar Club at Harbins members and their accompanied guests.

  4. Only paid homeowner and residents accounts in good standing are considered members. Unpaid resident or residents not in good standing may not be considered guests and are not permitted to use the pool.

  5. No alcoholic beverages are allowed for anyone under the age of 21. If consuming alcohol, discretion should be used and containers concealed. Alcohol brought into the pool area by members and

guests should be for personal use only. Remember, no glass containers.

  1. In using the pool, members and guests must be considerate of others enjoying the facility. Examples of behavior that would interfere with the enjoyment of the facilities by others include exuberant/boisterous play, use of abusive language, apparent intoxication or destruction of property. Individuals engaged in this type of behavior are subject to expulsion from the pool area.

  2. The health and safety of members and their guests are ultimately their own responsibility. In using the pool, members and guests assume all liability for anyone using the pool. This includes loss or damage of personal property while at or using the pool.

  3. These rules were designated to ensure a safe enjoyable recreation experience for all members and their guests. These rules also protect the assets of the community for which all Del Mar Club homeowners are ultimately financially responsible; therefore, violation of these rules, cannot be allowed. Enforcement of these rules is the responsibility of all members. Repeated rule breaking will be escalated to the Del Mar Club HOA Board of Directors for disciplinary action which can include fines and/or suspension of pool privileges. Inappropriate behavior or swimming after hours should be reported to the Gwinnett County Police non-emergency number 770-513-5700 and Beacon Managment Services .In the event of emergencies dial 911.

  4. Illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated and those infractions will be reported to the local police authority.

  5. All items left at the pool (Clothing, shoes, etc.) will be placed in the Lost and Found bin. Items not claimed will be donated to a charity on every Sunday or placed into the trash.

  6. In the event of thunder and lightning, all members/guests must evacuate the pool area and seek immediate shelter.

  7. No solo bathing.

  8. In accordance with health department requirements:

  • Proper swimwear is required at all times

  • Swimming with contagious disease or infectious conditions, including blisters or cuts is

prohibited.

  • All children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.

  • Showering after heavy perspiration is required before entering the pool.

  1. Children under 16 years of age are not permitted to enter the pool area without a parent or guardian present.

  2. The wading pool area is to be used by small children 5 and under only and must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children are not allowed to spend excessive time in the restrooms without parental supervision.

  3. Radios, CD players, etc. must be kept at a minimal volume levels. Please consider the use of headphones.

  4. No pets, bicycles, skateboards, skates or other vehicles are allowed in the pool area.

  5. Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.

  6. No food is permitted within 6 feet of the pool edge. No drinks are allowed in the pool. All food must be stored and consumed under the covered patio.

  7. All trash must be placed in trash receptacles provided, especially food trash and containers.

  8. Reservation of pool chairs and tables when not in the pool area is prohibited.

  9. The pool furniture is not to be used outside the pool area. Pool furniture should not be placed in

the pool.
